Motorcycle & moped parking in Barking and Dagenham
Is motorcycle parking free in Barking and Dagenham?
We cannot say for certain — the council publishes conflicting rules, so read the sign at the bay. A moped parks in the same solo motorcycle bay as a motorbike and pays the same. Two official answers. The fees schedule prices motorcycles three ways and the permit pages say a permit is required; the council's own CPZ consultation FAQ says solo motorcycles need no permit. Until the council reconciles them, assume you pay.
Checked against Barking and Dagenham council’s own parking page in August 2026. Councils change these schemes, so the sign at the bay always wins.
