Motorcycle & moped parking in Harrow
Is motorcycle parking free in Harrow?
Yes — free, for petrol and electric motorcycles and mopeds alike. A moped parks in the same solo motorcycle bay as a motorbike and pays the same. Harrow's own word is that the bays are "currently free of charge". On-street it says only that a motorcycle needs no permit in pay-and-display or resident bays, which is not the same as saying it need not pay. Its car parks name Blue Badge as the only exemption. The published 10-bay list is already out of date — a Kymberley Road bay was added in 2025.
Checked against Harrow council’s own parking page in August 2026. Councils change these schemes, so the sign at the bay always wins.
What the sign at each bay means
- Solo motorcycle bay
- Free, no time limit, reserved for solo motorcycles at all times
- Resident permit bay
- No permit required
- Pay-and-display bay
- No permit required — but Harrow never says payment is not required
- Resident / season permit
- Not needed
